Why we built a Privacy-First assistant
Standard wardrobe cataloging apps ask you to upload images of yourself, your clothes, and your private spaces. These images remain stored on remote servers, raising security concerns.
Dresscode takes a different path. We utilize **advanced vision models (Google Gemma)** to look at your clothes, categorize them, and extract metadata. Once the metadata is extracted, the original photo is deleted forever.
To visualize combinations, our generative system creates privacy-safe mockups that display your outfits without exposing your actual personal photographs.

Gemma Vision AI
Google's state-of-the-art Gemma models analyze the visual structure of your clothing, identifying item category, warmth, style tags, colors, and formality level from a single image.
Open-Meteo Forecasts
Outfit recommendations are tied to your planned events. Our weather tool polls the open-access Open-Meteo API to check the forecast on the event date, matching garments to actual temperatures.
Privacy-Safe Mockups
Instead of saving actual dress fit photos, we employ generative layout models to show color matching, outfit styles, and layout composition without referencing physical user likeness.
