How does the AI wardrobe cataloging work?
When you take a photo or upload an image of garments, our system uses Gemma Vision AI to process the image. It automatically identifies item categories (e.g., shirts, pants, dresses), key colors, suitability for seasons, layering position (base, mid, outer), and formality. The results are instantly saved to your wardrobe entries.
Are my uploaded photos safe?
Yes! Dresscode is designed around a strict privacy policy. As soon as Gemma AI finishes analyzing your uploaded photo to extract text tags and metadata, the original file is permanently deleted from our servers. We never store, cache, or share your physical photos. Instead, we generate privacy-safe visual models and color cards to represent items in your catalog.
How are weather-aware suggestions generated?
When you schedule an event and select a location (currently supporting German cities), our weather tool uses the Open-Meteo API to retrieve weather forecast data for that date. The recommendation system then filters your wardrobe to build outfit combinations that match both the weather forecast (temperature, precipitation) and the occasion formality.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Go to the Settings page in the mobile application and click "Delete Account". This action is irreversible and immediately purges all your profile metadata, calendar events, and cataloged wardrobe logs from our servers.
What should I do if an upload fails?
Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If the vision AI fails to recognize your clothes, you can manually input the details (category, colors, formality) when creating a dress entry.
