1. Information We Collect
To provide you with wardrobe cataloging, event scheduling, and weather-aware outfit recommendations, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Credentials: Username, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Event Context: Dates, times, and location contexts (e.g., German cities) for scheduling outings.
- Wardrobe Metadata: Style labels, seasons, category labels, colors, and layering attributes extracted by our vision AI.
2. Unique Photo & Media Privacy Policy
Unlike traditional styling or wardrobe cataloging tools, Dresscode operates on a zero-retention policy for physical images containing user content or garments.
- Transient Processing: When you upload a photo of a garment or an outfit, it is sent securely to our API backend where the Google Gemma 4 model handles automated image description and outfit suggestions, while Flux-2 performs garment extraction.
- Instant Deletion: Immediately after metadata extraction finishes, the original uploaded image file is permanently deleted and removed from our databases and server storage.
- Privacy-Safe Generated Previews: We do not store or display your real body/clothing photos. Instead, we use Flux-2 for outfit preview generation to show outfit combinations and let you preview how items coordinate.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We work with select third-party APIs to deliver key app functions:
- Open-Meteo: We query weather forecasts on demand using the city and date of your events. Location queries do not contain your physical GPS coordinates or user identities.
- Google Gemma 4 & Flux-2 AI: Image descriptions and outfit suggestions are handled securely via Gemma 4, while garment extraction and outfit preview generation are processed using Flux-2. No images are shared with third parties or stored for model re-training.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information and cataloged metadata for as long as your account remains active. You have full control over your data:
- You can delete specific clothing items, events, or your entire account directly through the mobile app settings.
- Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently erased from our operational servers.
5. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for or marketed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
